I have always felt drawn to the natural world. And in all seriousness, who isn’t. We ARE the natural world.

We are a part of it just as it is a part of us.

I don’t know if you can relate, but when I was younger I would sing to plants, talk to them, talk to anything I was in contact with. As if it were talking back to me. In truth, there is always a conversation happening, and we are always welcome to it. All we have to do is listen.

I began to listen more and more intently, and the more I did the more I found I could truly build a relationship with everything around me. This incredible planet that gives us everything we need.

I found that weeds were not weeds but medicine, spirits, beings with incredible intelligence and lessons to learn from. They each have unique properties and songs and we have so much to gain from them. And as funny as it sounds, they say they want to be with us. They want a connection and good relationship with us.

So that is where we begin. Redonda Wasi is the home in which I build relationship with myself, this earth, it’s plant beings, and now, graciously, you.

All the products made here have the plants in mind first, and us second. It might not seem like how we do things in our culture, but it’s how things have been done for millennia. Give first, you cannot receive until you give.

So I give to the plants. I give them song, prayers, tobacco, music, my time and energy, my curiosity and laughter, fresh brewed coffee, my hair, my blood. And in turn they teach me who they are. What medicine they hold.

So here is a place where their medicine resides. A place for you to connect and heal with them, both physically and spiritually. They have so much to give. Let us give back by knowing them and honoring them and protecting them. Protecting the sacredness of this life and all that lives.
