Why I started making soap.

My idea to make soap came from three key moments in my life; the first was when my aunt handed me a book that taught me about plants at the young age of five. The second was when I did a tobacco dieta in 2023 and tobacco told me to put him in soap. I think tobacco wanted to be in another form where we could sit it and find clarity. The third key moment was when I became pregnant later on the same year. My baby who named herself Eve told me how important it was for me to be myself, to share my gifts, and to reconnect myself and others to plants. She passed due to a miscarriage a month later, but her teachings and love catapulted me into what is now Redonda Wasi.

This is for her, for myself, for the plants, and for you. That we return to the earth; the way Eve and the plants effortlessly show me time and again is the way of nature. To give in the time we are here, to heal and love each other. To be the gifts that we are.

Each soap is inspired and made from a plant that I have sat with in ceremony, in life, and in my own healing. They all have something special to teach us. When you use each soap, you are using the plant in its essence. You are cleansing not just your body but your spirit.

I hope you get to experience them in all of their beauty and in turn get to experience yourself in all of your beauty. <3
