Citrus is not something I thought I’d work with, but oranges were something that got me through this winter. They reminded me of the sun that is hiding just behind the clouds, reserving her strength and energy for when we are all ready for it.

This bar of soap is my new favorite that I might have to make all year. It is made with a citrus essential oil, all the herbs I add into all my soaps, and turmeric for added color, texture, and benefits. Each soap comes with a dried orange that I dried myself and was such a labor of love. It took hours for these oranges to dry but it was such a process to get me to connect with oranges, transformation from one form to another, and the patience it takes to change form. I am grateful I had the chance to make these citrusy beauties.

Use this soap to connect to your inner sunshine, to wake up the skin on a deep level, wake up the senses through the gentle yet powerful essence of citrus, and to ground through the turmeric.

Ingredients: Olive oil infused with lavender, sage, lemon-balm, rosemary, yarrow, rose & pine, coconut oil, spring water, mango butter, shea butter, avocado oil, castor oil, citrus essential oil, lye, turmeric powder

Each 5oz bar of soap is hand cut and minimally packaged to reduce waste.

Ritually made in small batches on stolen Lenape land. Always intentionally worked with, prayed over, and made with offerings and the permission and collaboration of the plants and their want to be with us in many forms.
